Drug Facts

Active ingredients (in each patch)

Camphor 4.7% ............ Cough suppressant

Menthol 2.6% .............. Cough suppressant

Uses temporarily relieves these symptoms:

· cough due to a cold · cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation · cough to help you sleep

Warnings

For external use only

Flammable: Keep away from fire or flame

Do not use

· near an open flame · by adding to hot water · in a microwave oven · in a container in which water is being heated

Ask a doctor before use if the child has

· cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus) · a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma

When using this product

· do not use more than directed · do not take by mouth or place in nostrils · do not apply to eyes, wounds, or damaged skin

Stop use and ask a doctor if

· a cough persists for more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition · too much skin irritation occurs or gets worse

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

Dosage and Administration

Children 2 to under 12 years of age:

· Remove plastic backing · Apply to the throat or chest · Clothing should be left loose about the throat and chest to help the vapors rise to reach the nose and mouth · More than one patch may be used · Applications may be repeated up to three times daily or as directed by a doctor · May use with other cough suppressant products

Children under 2 years of age: Ask a doctor

Other Information:

· store at controlled room temperature 20-25°C (68-77°F) · protect from excessive heat
